Red Power is a revolutionary v-belt that requires no re-tension maintenance throughout its lifetime, is wear resistant for longer belt life, and transfers up to 50% more power than conventional v-belts. 

This means more value, performance and durability than you ever thought possible. Available in single and banded sizes.

Construction details

optibelt Red Power Profile Construction


Cord
High modulus polyester tension cords resist stretching. This eliminates re-tensioning maintenance and substantially improves energy efficiency.

Rubber
Transverse fiber rubber provides added strength and allows for higher cord tension, which increases the belt’s power capacity.

Wrap
2X wrapped for increased grip strength and greater wear resistance. This specialized wrap is rubber impregnated and fused to the belt’s core rubber.

Low-stretch cords and transverse fiber rubber eliminate the need for tension maintenance.

GREATER EFFICIENCY
Up to 97% efficient at transferring power.

S=C Plus
Length tolerances closer than matched-sets, regardless of the date manufactured.

TEMPERATURE RANGE
Recommended operational range: -22 to 212°F.

MORE POWER
Transfers up to 50% more power than conventional v-belts.

ANTI-STATIC
Meets ISO 1813 requirements for being anti-static.

INCREASED LIFE
Rubber impregnated fabric wrap is bonded with the belt’s core for superior durability.

IDLER FRIENDLY
Flex range accommodates idler stresses.
