Certified environmental management

The fact that Optibelt sustainably operates and produces with regard to protecting the environment was already confirmed in 2014 during its fourth re-certification.

The environmental certificate according to DIN EN ISO 14001 was granted for the first time in September 2005. Already at that time, Optibelt had proven that it works according to an environment management system in compliance with internationally recognised standards.

Until November 2020, the current environmental certificate applies to all parts of Optibelt throughout Germany.

Energy management system successfully certified

Arntz Optibelt GmbH has received official certification in accordance with the international standard DIN EN ISO 50001:2011 for the introduction of its new energy management system at the Höxter facility.

This initial certification confirms that important prerequisites and measures have been put into effect at Optibelt for the sustainable handling of the energy resources in the company.

The aim is to continually improve energy use, energy consumption and energy efficiency by systematically making energy flows transparent and uncovering potential savings.

This contributes to a further reduction of energy costs and the environmental burden. In this way, Optibelt will also make a substantial contribution to environmental and climate protection in the region in future.
