The design of new engines is becoming increasingly space-saving. Small pulley diameters and shallow depths are not uncommon. optibelt RBK V-ribbed belts are dimensionally stable and adapt to the specific drive geometry.

optibelt RBK V-ribbed belts drive the auxiliary units in cars. They dampen vibrations and give the generator, the air conditioning compressor and the power steering pump the right spin.

optibelt RBK belts are also available as double-sided and elastic ribbed belts. It’s important to remember, however, that elastic V-ribbed belts must not be used as a replacement for normal ribbed belts. At Optibelt, you can recognise the elastic V-ribbed belts by the additional ‘E’ in the item number, e.g. 6 EPK 842. Double section ribbed belts have the letters “DPK” after the item number.
