The MARATHON 1 has excellent tension behaviour with low-stretch.

This, together with the section accuracy, means it runs extremely quietly when it rotates alternators, water pumps or air conditioning compressors.

Due to its maintenance-free high performance capability, continuous use of the MARATHON 1 is particularly cost-effective. 

Technical information

optibelt MARATHON 1 will be replaced by optibelt MARATHON X.

The V-Belt optibelt MARATHON X is a development of the optibelt MARATHON 1. Both products cover the same vehicles and are linked to the same original part numbers. Of course they comply with the OE standards.

We will start the continuous replacement process on 1 June 2018. Please do not hesitate to contact us for more information.
