Hoexter, 05/28/2021. optibelt DELTA Chain will be manufactured with our new laser etching process. This permanent process will now allow for customers to better identify Delta Chain’s section size and length. It will also allow use of barcodes so stocking and inventory control will be easier than ever. This product change will affect new Delta Chain belts manufactured from June 1st, 2021 forward.
In the 3rd quarter of 2021, Optibelt will begin production of Delta Chain in 14MDC profiles. We expect 14MDC profiles available in lengths ranging from 994 to 4410 mm to be fully stocked at our distribution facilities before 2022.
Optibelt Delta Chain is an advanced polyurethane belt with carbon cords. Its amazing strength and power capacity allows the belt to be used in chain drive applications and gives engineers new possibilities to design lighter, smaller and more efficient drives.
Delta Chain is a standard stocked product and available in 8MDC profiles at Optibelt’s global distribution facilities. Delta Chain profiles will also fit into 8MGT and 8MGT2 pulleys as a direct drop-in replacement.
