The Arntz Optibelt Group will be presenting innovations at the 2019 HANOVER TRADE FAIR

|   Pressemeldung

The theme at Stand C13 in Hall 25 is all about our trade fair motto “The Optibelt solution - as unique as your drive”.

Höxter, 02 April 2019. The Arntz Optibelt Group will be presenting its latest innovations and products at the HANOVER TRADE FAIR 2019. The company will be presenting customised solutions and novelties in the fields of mechanical engineering, X-ray protection, food processing, logistics and technical equipment under the motto “The Optibelt solution – as unique as your drive”. Product applications, as in racing cars, will attract visitors to the stand.

“Our focus is predominantly on the development of customised solutions. Our objective and our claim is the development of unique technical solutions in cooperation with our customers,” says Managing Director Reinhold Mühlbeyer.

Brilliant achievement
Amongst other things, a floor grinder by the Swedish manufacturer HTC is on display at the Arntz Optibelt Group stand. The grinder is driven by Optibelt high performance belts. These belts are designed to withstand high temperatures and changing environmental conditions. The required grinding precision demands that these drive belts transmit high torques even via extremely small pulley diameters.

Optibelt surface protection
Transport systems often require that products with highly sensitive surfaces be moved. To prevent damages, Optibelt can offer a transport system for PU timing belts that works with brushes. Profiles are here screwed onto timing belts with soft brush surfaces for protection in transport.

Transportation of packaged and loose foodstuffs is subject to strict hygiene, in turn making high demands on automation. Optibelt can offer a special range of toothed and round section belts that will meet legal regulations and recommendations and are thus also suited for direct contact with foodstuffs.

Innovations
The Optibelt Group is constantly working on further development of its products. Although market- and user-friendly development is a primary objective, the deployment of high performance materials is also imperative. The importance of innovative products and materials cannot be ignored since these allow the development of more compact and lighter drives.

Technical equipment
Optibelt technical equipment is ideally matched. New groove templates will allow clear identification of toothed belts.
The TCO calculator will examine the efficiency of existing drives and demonstrate cost savings offered by Optibelt premium V-belts.
The Web-based CAP7 calculation software can handle multiple pulleys and will visualise the drive layout in the calculation document.
The optibelt TT DATA frequency tension tester will check drive belt pre-tensioning by measuring frequency.

Customised solutions by the Tecnamic and Walk subsidiaries
Tecnamic GmbH is a subsidiary of the Arntz Optibelt Group. The new WSO pulley supplements the product portfolio of innovative coupling technologies and customised solutions in the field of drives and of premium-quality drive elements.

Tecnamic GmbH will be starting its operations at its new company headquarters in Werl in June 2019. The new location will be boasting a fully automatic tray warehouse and a modern warehouse management system.

The Dutch company Optibelt Walk B.V. is an Arntz Optibelt Group company specialising in gearing and special geared drives. The Optibelt Walk product range includes assemblies and geared drives, special crown gears, toothed racks, sprockets and gear wheels. The company is an approved system partner for special geared drive solutions, offering support with drive designs and problems, based on modern production methods and top technical expertise.

Optibelt on the racing circuit
The optibelt DELTA CHAIN Carbon is ideally suited for racing conditions. These high performance timing belts replace conventional chain drives in Formula-Student racing cars. Used as a so-called secondary drive, it transmits engine power to the rear axle. Belt drives are somewhat lighter compared to chain drives and can offer high power densities and thus very compact drive solutions.

The HANOVER TRADE FAIR
Key technologies and core areas of industry will meet from 1 to 5 April 2019 at the exhibition site in Hanover. The HANOVER TRADE FAIR is regarded a global hotspot in the industry. 6 500 exhibitors will be expecting in excess of 220 000 visitors. The HMI is a highlight for Optibelt also, with staff converging here from all over the world.
