Local government representatives took part in the festivities, including María Guadalupe Gómez Rodríguez, Secretary for Integral and Economic Development of the Municipality, as well as Genaro Montes Díaz, Secretary of State for Economic Development of the federal state of Querétaro. Both representatives underscored the importance of this investment for the region and emphasised the role of Querétaro as a strategic location for international companies.

With this production site, Optibelt intends to serve the Latin-American market better and more quickly, as well as the US and Canada. “This facility marks a milestone in our history. This investment underscores the Optibelt Group’s long-term commitment in the region and strengthens Mexico’s position as a strategic production site. “We are proud of being part of the emerging industrial landscape of Querétaro and are looking forward to growing together with the local authorities and our committed local team”, concludes Ummen.
