Optibelt ConNect offers its business partners the option of transferring business documents from one system to another. In this process, two types of data transfer can be distinguished. You have the option of sending orders using a CSV file. All necessary information, such as order number, dispatch route, delivery address, customer article number, quantity and date of delivery are contained within the CSV file.

The CSV file is automatically converted into an XML file in OpenTrans format by software that is to be installed. This is then sent to Optibelt over the Internet and processed. The CSV format has the advantage that the file is small, reliable and simple to run.

As a further alternative, you can send us all necessary order information as an XML file. An XML file is slightly more larger and is sent to Optibelt’s server by HTTP post or as a SOAP message. The XML format has the positive effect that no installation is required for transmission of this kind.

The most important advantages ofOptibelt ConNect are:

  • No need to enter order twice thanks to system-to-system transmission
  • Quick and easy order transmission
  • Elimination of paper documents due to electronic transmission
  • Little work effort after one-off set up

In the case of both formats, order confirmations as well as invoices are sent by Optibelt straight to your inventory control system. You can choose whether we should send you the data as a PDF CSV or an XML file.

Order status

When you are linked with OPTIBELT ConNect, you can make order status enquiries online. You will find this feature in the “Order status” menu item in the log-in area under ”My access” options. There, it is possible to not only enquire about your current orders, but also to look at deliveries which have already been sent.
