Optibelt Sustainability with DRIVE stands for the holistic approach of our actions, considering economic, social and ecological aspects.

Financial Sustainability

Economically sustainable action means acting with foresight about existing and future challenges such as climate change, digitalization or globalization. Resources are used efficiently to be and remain competitive.

Through our own photovoltaic system power generation and the consistent switch to energy-efficient LED lighting at our production sites, we have so far not only reduced our energy costs, but also reduced our ecological footprint.

Social Sustainability

As a family-owned company, Optibelt is aware of its social responsibility for all employees and for the region. The creation and preservation of secure jobs reflects our socially sustainable actions. With training and further education opportunities, we would like to offer our employees the possibility of personal development, so that everyone can develop their full potential. This also includes values for the region, which can be seen, for example, in our local social commitment.

The appreciation of our employees is very important to us. They are the key to our success. Transparency in management decisions through direct information of the workforce, for example with regular video podcasts of the management, contribute to a positive working atmosphere.

Our employees profit directly through benefits, such as the use of a job ticket or the option of leasing an e-bike. As a family-friendly company, we support flexible working through home office arrangements and flexible time models.

Ecological Sustainability

Environmental protection is an essential part of our corporate policy. Resource and energy efficiency are essential fields of action for ecologically sustainable action. We have had our environmental management system in place since 2004 to systematically record and continuously improve the ecological impact of our actions.

The successful recertifications are proof of the path taken so far, and at the same time an incentive to continue improving the processes in the future.

Certified management systems :

In addition to the continuous optimization and maintenance of our management systems, our focus is on making our carbon footprint visible. Thus, our direct and indirect emissions are determined in accordance with the GHG Protocol.
