- All international and domestic production sites work uniformly according to Total Quality Management (see “Certificates”).
- In the Optibelt research laboratory, the materials are tested under the toughest conditions.
- Suppliers are chosen according to quality, not according to price criteria.
- The sales department maintains constant informational exchange with our customers. In this way, our developers can react promptly to the needs of the market.
- We invest in bright minds: The ideas of our employees represent our innovation pool.
Success proves us right: With extremely low manufacturing tolerances, Optibelt high-performance drive belts set standards. We are especially proud of this because every batch of the natural product, rubber – the main component of our drive belts – is composed of slightly different properties.
Quality is attested to through documentation
Product and service quality at Optibelt is first-class. This has been confirmed by TÜV Nord in Hanover during a re-certification process involving the entire Arntz Optibelt Group in 2017 and 2018.
The process of alignment with the current quality management standard IATF 16949:2016 was implemented at the company headquarters in Höxter, and also at the production sites of Optibelt Produktions GmbH in Bad Blankenburg and Optibelt Power Transmission (Taicang) Ltd. in Taicang/China as well as for the S.C. Optibelt Power Transmission S.R.L. site in Tautii Magheraus, Romania, which commenced operation in 2009.
Optibelt guarantees uniform quality with regard to products and services for all production sites and distribution companies. An example: Drive belts, which we distribute on a worldwide level, are continuously produced by the same state-of-the-art special machines.
Certified environmental management
The fact that Optibelt sustainably operates and produces with regard to protecting the environment was already confirmed in November 2020 during its fifth re-certification.
The environmental certificate according to DIN EN ISO 14001 was granted for the first time in September 2005. Even then, Optibelt had already proved that it operates according to an environmental management system in compliance with a globally recognised standard.
Until November 2023, the current environmental certificate applies to all parts of the Optibelt company throughout Germany.
Energy management system successfully certified
Arntz Optibelt GmbH has received official certification in accordance with the international standard DIN EN ISO 50001:2011 for the introduction of its new energy management system at the Höxter facility.
This initial certification confirms that important prerequisites and measures have been put into effect at Optibelt for the sustainable handling of the energy resources in the company.
The aim is to continually improve energy use, energy consumption and energy efficiency by systematically making energy flows transparent and uncovering potential savings.
This contributes to a further reduction of energy costs and the environmental burden. In this way, Optibelt will also make a substantial contribution to environmental and climate protection in the region in future.
