The Arntz Optibelt Group thinks about tomorrow

|   Sustainability

The Arntz Optibelt Group has received the building permit for the first large-scale PV ground-mounted plant in Höxter.

Hoexter, 08/30/2022. As part of the sustainability strategy, an open-space PV system with more than 3.000 modules is being built on the group's property on Gutenbergstraße. On an area of just under 7.000 m², this will generate around 1.33 million kilowatt hours per year. The Arntz Optibelt Group will thus save approx. 628 tons of CO2 per year and make an important contribution to reducing CO2 emissions for future generations. Most of the electricity generated is used directly on site at the company location in Höxter.

Mayor Daniel Hartmann: "We are all called upon to make our contribution to the energy transition and to take responsibility for the future of generations to come. We are facing up to this responsibility. And we are doing so successfully, as many private and municipal projects in our city already show. With the first PV ground-mounted system in the city of Höxter, everything simply fits together. Climate, nature and species protection hand in hand and more independence in terms of energy supply".

Solaritec GmbH, headquartered in Rangsdorf, Brandenburg, is a reliable partner. This is already the second joint photovoltaic project with the Arntz Optibelt group of companies. Thomas Runge, Managing Director of Solaritec, comments: "Arntz Optibelt stands for the same values of sustainability, social responsibility and quality. We are looking forward to the implementation of many more projects".
