OPTIBELT Romania receives award as best company 2012
IHK Romania honours ORO as most powerful company of its class
In the course of a special ceremony on November 22nd 2012, the Romanian IHK in Bucharest (Chamber of Industry and Commerce) honoured the company ORO as the best industry business of its class (“The National Top of the Companies 2012”).
Since 19 years, the annual award has been given cross-sector to the most powerful businesses in the country.
All companies that have a positive balance and fulfil certain criteria such as revenue, profit and other economic key figures like profitability, solvency or liquidity particularly well are able to participate in the competition.
The Romanian IHK was host of the ceremony and welcomed not only government and local authorities but also the representatives of the honoured companies. Representing the whole ORO team, Mrs Camelia Haiduc (Manager Finance Department) accepted the award in Bucharest.
“Regarding the still young history of the company ORO, it is really remarkable that we have already set the benchmark in our class within such a short period of time.
This great success is not only due to the good cooperation within the group of companies but also due to the high level of commitment and motivation of every single employee – from plant manager to machine operator.“ Ummen appraisingly acknowledges.
The business OPTIBELT Power Transmission S.R.L. was only established in 2007, and, since August 2009, it has been producing wrapped V-belts and kraftbands.
Mr Csaba Kala, Plant Manager of ORO and part of the company since its beginning, and his team have already been contributing to the great reputation of OPTIBELT in the business world for five years now.
