Ground-breaking ceremony at the new headquarters of the Optibelt subsidiary Tecnamic GmbH & Co. KG

Some nine million euros are being invested in the new company headquarters in Werl. Operations at the approximately 19,000 square metre site are scheduled to start in June 2019.

Werl, 13 June 2018. Tecnamic GmbH & Co. KG, a company up until now based in Arnsberg, invited guests to attend the ground-breaking ceremony on the site of its planned new company headquarters in Werl. The new headquarters with a modern logistics centre will be built on this approximately 19,000 square metre site.

The planned warehouse measuring some 5,200 square metres in area is ideally designed for the logistics processes at Tecnamic. An available expansion area of 3,000 square metres offers adequate reserves for potential growth.

The office space encompassing some 1,200 square metres over three floors initially offers space for about 50 workstations. The expansion this allows includes two additional apprenticeships to be created and the personnel in some departments to be increased.

Modern and effective
The new build is rounded off with parking space for some 40 vehicles and a large break room enabling staff to lunch together. Utilities are provided through the neighbouring STEAG New Energies situated adjacent to the plot.

This move will also entail some innovations in the logistics technology at Tecnamic GmbH & Co. KG – a fully-automatic tray warehouse and pallet warehouse will be equipped with a modern warehouse management system. In combination with the cutting-edge technology used, this will enable the new site to carry out existing processes faster and more effectively.
