Fundraising campaign by the Arntz Optibelt Group

|   Press releases

Höxter, 14 December 2023. This year, the Arntz Optibelt is supporting local non-profit organisations with a donation of 10,000 Euro.

There are major social challenges around the world, and Höxter is no exception. “This is why this year, we have decided to support four non-profit organisations in our region with a donation in the amount of 10,000 Euro”, announced Reinhold Mühlbeyer, Managing Director of the corporate group. The goal of the donation is to promote the work of the German Red Cross Höxter, SkF Women’s and Children’s Shelter in the district of Höxter, Lebenshilfe Höxter as well as the Ambulatory Hospital Service for Children and Young People of Paderborn/Höxter.

The German Red Cross saves lives, helps in cases of emergency, offers a community, assists the poor and people in need, and is committed to upholding humanitarian international law – in Germany and all around the world.

The SkF has been operating the first and only Women’s and Children’s Shelter in Höxter for almost 30 years. It can accommodate up to 9 women and 10 children at a time. Moreover, the SkF provides women with a 24/7 service that we cover with our own funds.

Lebenshilfe Höxter Werkstätten und Kita gGmbH is a non-profit organisation that supports people with disabilities in the Höxter region. The organisation offers jobs in the workshops as well as childcare facilities in two daycare centres, which are certified as family centres.

The Ambulatory Hospital Service for Children and Young People of Paderborn/Höxter (Ambulanter Kinder- und Jugendhospizdienst Paderborn-Höxter) accompanies families of terminal and incurably ill children, adolescents and young adults on their respective journeys: from the diagnosis, through life, during and beyond their child’s death. Currently, 59 volunteers are caring for 34 families.
