optibeltELASTOMIT-R BFR 121A is OPTIBELT’s latest premium product in the area of X-ray protection. This product construction is specially designed as curtain material for X-ray inspection systems which are used in the food production. In this case OPTIBELT is closing a worldwide gap in supplies. optibelt ELASTOMIT-R BFR 121A is the first X-ray protection curtain material which achieves requirements of the BFR-recommendation XXI (Category 3), regulation (EC) 1935/2004 and LFGB. This product allows the direct contact with food. There is nothing similar on the market right now.
Available wound up on cardboard tubes with a standard width of 1200mm. On request our sheeting can also be delivered in strips with widths starting from 40mm.
All optibelt ELASTOMIT-R X-ray protection qualities are also available as a single-coat material in various equivalent Pb values ranging from 0.125 mm–1.00 mm Pb (according to national and international X-ray standards). The films can be produced according to customer needs with fabric inserts and coatings as well as covering layers.
Advantages of the rubber basis have to do with high levels of elongation and tensile strength, a low level of permanent stretch as well as its unmatched flexibility – the key word here is wear comfort.
With reference to our consciousness regarding safety, 100% of all X-ray protection films with a Pb equivalent value of up to 0.35 mm Pb are additionally tested for flaws by means of a hi-scan X-ray tunnel machine.
